So, my brother pulled the wool over all of our eyes and surprised us by showing up on the doorstep for Christmas. He was supposed to be stuck in Halifax, working, but it turns out that was merely an elaborate ploy to give us all heart-attacks when we answered the door to an unannounced visitor.
After being away for 6 months, it’s nice to have everyone home for the holidays. Definitely a time to be thankful for the people you have in your life. Here, there, everywhere. Afterall, the best things in life aren’t things.
