After a holiday in the homeland, I have returned safe, sound, and happy to the west coast. The last week has been a blur of lounging, laughs, food, drinks and long walks. With semester 2 around the bend, I decided I was justified in capitalizing on all of these pleasures.
And so, as I am constantly reminded to appreciate the little things in life, here is a tribute to new beginnings in 2011, and the simple things that can be oh-so-beautiful (captured via my new phone’s camera. Props):
